Understand the treatment
before booking travel.
A veneer covers the front of a tooth; a crown covers the tooth more extensively. They are not interchangeable descriptions. Whether preparation is needed, and how much, depends on the proposed treatment and your teeth. Ask a dentist to explain the options and risks.
Suitability comes first
Discuss your plans with your usual dentist. A photograph or a travel enquiry is not a substitute for a clinical assessment.
Know what is proposed
Ask whether the plan is for veneers, crowns or another treatment, which teeth are involved, and what alternatives are available, including no treatment.
Allow for follow-up
Ask who to contact if there is a problem after you return to the UK, and who pays for further appointments, treatment or travel.
Check the written plan
Request the treating dentist's details, proposed material, appointment schedule, full costs and any guarantee terms before committing.

How many trips do veneers take?+
The number and timing of visits depend on the clinical plan. The example on this page involved three veneer-stage visits, but that is not a schedule for every patient. Confirm dates and allow for follow-up before buying travel.
